Anyone have ECU connection problems with Vgate Vlinker MC+ OBD tool?

Hello all,

Bought the Vgate MC+ and managed to update the firmware, also got it connected to the car scanner app, however when trying to get connection to the car it makes the ELM connection, but won't connect to the ECU.

A warning message displays saying 'car scanner has successfully connected to ELM327, but ELM327 wasn't able to establish connection with your car.'

The MC+ seemed to be well recommended so hoping someone else has maybe found a way to get around this and get it connected.

This has been working flawlessly for me. I suspect that you did not select eTron/Taycan profile in the Car Scanner App which is required for ECU communication. I have this OBD:

Just had a look on the app and you are correct I didn't have Taycan option selected. I was sure I didn't see this first time around. Will try this tonight and see if I have success now.
