Audi Concept C EV revealed - thoughts?

Shame Porsche dumbed down the Taycan front end for the ‘24 facelift, seeing those concept pics makes it all the more disspointing they moved further away from such automotive beauty.

I wouldn’t personally see the Audi Concept C as beautiful, but good for them they’re back to striking design, it was always the key Audi differentiator and prestige brands need differention,.

Motor Trend reports an Audi engineer mentioned "over 500 horsepower" for the RWD Concept C. If true, it bodes well for those of us concerned about lackluster TT-level performance.

FWIW -- Audi CEO said today that the production version will come in 2027 and it'll look nearly identical to this concept vehicle.

This would surprise me. Especially since you can’t see out of the back.

Camera rear view mirrors are far from "new tech" or uncommon in EV cars.

And it would finally give a good excuse to a VW group car to have a good camera on one of their cars.

Yes they exist, but usually for cars that also have a rear window. They also “flip down” to work like a regular mirror.

My mother in law’s new Lexus has the camera rear view. I definitely wasn’t a fan. The issue is focus/depth perception. You are switching from looking at the road (long distance) to the mirror video (very short distance). Definitely messes with you.

The one benefit was a wider view though.

Either way, I would be shocked if this car ends up with no rear window.
