Backup Camera Quality to Improve?

The first car I had with a rear view camera was a 2012 E Class Convertible. That was clearer than my Taycan, as was my 2015 911 and 2018 Cayenne.

How do you switch? Mines just awful

Touch the camera icon front and rear to change view.

Rear view camera setup on its own is poor (same on facelift).

You really need the 360 setup to get a decent view plus kerbside view.

Hope the company follows through on shipments to the U.S. as neighborhood electric vehicle. I'm in a small coastal city where they would do quite well, I believe. Thanks for the clarification.

Took delivery if my first Porsche (21 CT Turbo S) just the other day.

Reversing camera was comedy unusably bad. I was shocked. I honestly thought it was broken.
Last two cars 2010 E63 AMG and 2018 Model S100D both new.

Even the 2010 E class makes the Porsche look truly woeful.
Interesting to read you can turn fisheye off, not tried that yet but annoying you have to do it every time.

It makes is moderately better, but when you switch it you can see the view go from way too concave to a bit too convex. Somewhere around 2/3 of the way through that transition it passes an angle that is borderline acceptable. I am hopeful they will push a software update that fixes it.
