My car looks just like yours: same colour with black window trims (though it's an ST, not CT). I've got a gloss black Taycan badge which I think looks better than chrome. That said the full delete is good, too - who needs to advertise what model you have?

Thanks! Can you share a pic of yours with the glossy black badge? Even though yours is a CT it should give me an idea of how it looks woth the badge.

I debadged my 4S and no regrets. Dental floss, and off it goes. Then WD-40 for the residual glue and that’s it.

I never realised it was that easy. It would be good to see a video of someone removing the badge. I have a white CT4 with the standard badge in silver. I always wondered what it would be like without the badge. It is a leased car, so would need to ask them if it would be ok to remove it. Might look into it.

Super easy. You can always put it back. I placed painters tape over it before removing to maintain the spacing of the letters in case I do, but doubt it.

It seems to me (very unscientifically generated hunch) that it tends to be the lower trims (4S and lower) that gets deleted more than Turbo S and higher.

At least here in Ireland, when I see a debadged Porsche, I tend to assume its a base model. Not that it matters.

Even though it looks more cluttered on a Turbo S. My dad drives a cayenne coupe turbo s e hybrid and he got it deleted cause it was way to messy with all those words. He said if it was only cayenne he would leave it on.

Plus a ‘base’ engine Porsche is nothing to be a shamed of imho. Different than a bmw 118i with M badges

Out of sincere curiosity; how do the deleters determine where to stop?
Rear type badge; Allrighty i get it, but what’s next? Porsche lettering on the back? Porsche badge on the rims? Porsche badge on the front? Porsche badge on the steering wheel? Rear windscreen wiper?

edit: this sounds retorical, but it’s not! I would like to know what parts would be deleted by a deleter ;)
Personally, I delete any stick on badges, so typically model and trim, or things like "electric" on the sides, or size of the engine. I also tend to delete any badging meant to advertise that I bought a higher trim. I typically leave brand logos if they are not too flashy. I guess you could say I like elegant but muted looking cars. The vast majority of my cars have been white, as it goes with my elegant but muted look.

For my Taycan specifically, from the factory I deleted the model trim, no side badges, and replaced the trim embossing on seats with a Porsche logo instead (there was no option to just delete the trim and leave the headrests clear). After delivery I replaced the rear tail light bar with one that has a PORSCHE lettering black on black (would have done it from the factory, but I wanted euro tail lights which I could not order for a US build, plus it's the same price to swap in different color of lightbar at factory as buy whole set of new OEM tail lights later). I also replaced my Porsche gold hood ornament with a monochrome version (way before Porsche released turbonite ones), and swapped out gold wheel centers for monochrome ones.

If you saw my Taycan, or most of the cars I've owned. your assumption would be incorrect. I've debadged almost every car I ever owned. which included few base, but mostly upper and top of the range trims. Heck, I once owned the same model car base trim, then swapped it out for a top trim less than 2 years later, but on the outside the car looked identical since they were both debadged (including factory painting the calipers same color as the base, because I liked it better than the standard for top trim red) but loaded with same options - it would take a very close look, by a serious brand fan to be able to tell the difference between the two parked next to each other. Same is technically true of my current Taycan - Taycan superfans could actually tell my Taycan not a base trim by looking carefully.

Personally I always thought the trim badge was invented by the car manufacturer as a status symbol (which I have never had interest in). It's probably why there are some people out there who get irrationally angry when someone buys a base trim and badge it up to look like the top trim. Then there are people who have fun with it, like a pink 718 Boxter I once saw at a local Porsche service bay with "PRIUS" badge (it was a relatively recent one too), or perhaps this guy:
