Car frozen up and active climate failed again

For the second frosty morning in a row I’ve attempted to de ice my car via the app but the “climate control function isn’t currently available please try again later” message appears.
I’m glad I renewed the subscription ?

I defrosted this morning, worked fine. Its been pretty reliable so far for me, I can only remember one time it didn't work. Does yours never work or intermittent?

There are many threads about this problem. My guess is there are problems with Porsche servers.

Mine doesn't work about 1 time in 5 or so but I live in an area with very poor mobile phone signal so I have always put it down to that.

Mine works fine until it’s frosty and I’m in no mood to go outside in the cold. Then it fails every time ?

posted a workaround that got it back for me in a neighbour thread:

1) turn the car on, ensure it has LTE.
2) enable privacy mode in the PCM.
3) shut the car off, lock it.
4) re-confirmed in the app that the privacy mode is indeed active and I cannot access anything
5) left the car for 30 minutes.
6) came back, opened the car, turned it on.
7) ensured it has LTE, turned the privacy mode off.
8) opened the app, everything back to normal, temperature gauge in pre-heat menu is back alongside with seat heating.

Mine usually works ok but it’s seems that when it’s really cold it doesn’t… I might be imagining that but I will try the workaround suggested here as the temp gauge on the app has also disappeared.
