I'm finding picking a colour for my GTS order a nightmare. I was thinking Frozen Blue but can't find one locally so nervous. I like the lighter shades so thinking of going for CWM. We live in SW France so many sunny days.

So the main question, is it going to look good in the sun and how noticeable is the metallic. I've heard it's subtle.

If I don't go CWM I could go flat white or Neptune Blue which I've seen in a showroom and like it but it's a not a light shade but nice. My spec is high so didn't really want anything else over the price of the metallic colours.

Flat white always look cheap.
I have CWM and it's not quite white, it's very light gray, with highlights cuz of the metallic.
You'll be surprised how good it looks, yet very subtle.
It's just looks more quality but that's just very personal.
If you think color is that important to you, just find one irl.
Really, or you may regret it later.
No one can tell you how good or bad it looks cuz it's a matter of taste.
And you can't discuss taste.

White is just a bit too boring imho.
Neptune blue looks amazing and a little different. That gets my vote.

Spec the thermally and noise insulated glass, should keep the cabin relatively cool.

The metallic flakes are much more subtle than similar white colours on other brands. It is nice but if white is the right colour depends so much on personal taste.

I wanted a white car that reflects the heat much better than a darker colour. And the difference to a blue BMW or our blue Tesla is astonishing. White still gets warm but measured temperature difference in the midst of summer can be more than 30 degrees C!

My wifes car is white and you are right. My BMW is black.

I wanted something different and worried about Frozen Blue as not see it in the flesh. I know I will like white and the metallic is a bit different.

I've seen Neptune and liked it. The car was in the showroom and the sun was on one side so I could judge it in the sun and shade. But my spec is getting expensive and I know I will be happy to live with white but might be disappointed with the Neptune or F Blue. I'm not going for any of the dark colours as I don't think it suits the car and the heat issue. Here in SW France we had many days this summer well over 40 deg C.

CWM performs well in sun and as Dee said has grey highlights. Very nice. It's a personal choice. Darker colours show dirt quicker (but I'd love an all black look). I'm not too worried about summer heat waves: yes the difference can be big vs darker tints but you can turn on air con remotely (maybe it works just fine now?) and find the cabin cool as you approach the car?

Sound and heat absording glass option.
I'm considering speccing this as I live in SW France but no point if the Pan Roof is not included. I have to have the Pan Roof as I need the roof rails.

Does anyone know for sure if the Pan Roof is included with this option?

Frozen Blue is a beautiful colour in all weather if you want to stick with your original decision.
I would never, EVER, spec Frozen Blue unless you're 100% sure. Period. It is a very polarizing color and if you have any doubts it's just not a good call. I personally find it awful and I'd probably have it as the worst Taycan color if I ranked them. If you love it? Get it! If you're not sure, go safer.

Carrera White is a super nice color that's super safe. I've yet to meet someone who saw a CW Porsche and didn't think it looked nice.

I also find Neptune Blue to be a very nice color, so it's a good option as well. But if Carrera White is classic and suits the car beautifully.

I think I'm decided it's Carrera White for me. Reminds me nicely of my Sierra Cosworth 3 door I used to have. Wish I still has that car. Crazy machine. Mine has 538 bhp and weighed 1300kg.

White is "safe." I have Neptune Blue and love it. I get compliments all the time and feel there is no risk at all I will wake up one day and say to myself "what was I thinking." It fits that perfect space between safe, common and "oh that hurts my eyes."

Frozen Blue is not safe but definitely runs that risk.

Pure white is sporty. Carrara is classy. Depends on which look you’re going for.

Between frozen blue and carrera white, my vote goes to carrera.
With all due respect to frozen blue, for me, it looks somehow plastic to me.
Neptune blue is great, so i’d take it before carrera….but not before chalk/crayon

I agree a bit. I test drove a GTS yesterday in Crayon and it was so dull and did nothing for me. And the sun was out. My wife hated it. I like Neptune but Carrera White wins for me. Frozen Blue I still love but it's too risky.
