Charging limit to prolong longevity

Question; new GTS. It’s got a 95kw battery but I read circa 8x kw is usable.

does this mean charging to 100% routinely is fine because effectively it’s only Charing to 80%ish anyway?

or like other EV’s is setting max charge to 80% the right thing to do

No. The Taycan GTS battery is 93.4kW with the usable being 87.0kW. The manuf. recommends routinely charging to 85% to preserve battery life. The occasional charge to 100% for road trips won't hurt the projected life.
