had the right port(manual flaps) open warning light show up on dash. It was closed but now can't get rid of it and fast charge port door (left side)won't open to allow me to fast charge(just queued for fast charger and discovered that).
I have no home charger facility at my flats. Drove to Porsche East London and was advised that I'd be better off driving home and calling Porsche assistance to flat bed back to them!
It sounds like a sensor on the flap is saying that its opened. Both myself and the Porsche rep tried resetting everything and nothing. Anyone else had this problem?...im currently waiting for Porsche assistance but think they will say that as its drivable and within range of the Porsche centre I'll have to drive it there lol

This happened on a dealer car when we took our first test drive! I think they weren't expecting us to go and test charging....
The most efficient approach is for a nearby OPC to just book in into their workshop on Monday - but some have long queues at the moment. Calling Porsche Assistance is probably the right approach if none of the dealers around you will help. There seems to be an agreement that all vehicles sent from Porsche Assistance are triaged by the OPC within 5 days, often much faster. And they will provide a loan car.

Why not run the battery down until your Porsche Centre is out of range then Porsche Assist will have to transport the car?

I think it works a bit like a dentist who keep some appointments back for emergencies.
Porsche Assist jump the normal queue.

Good analogy. I think we may have a few dentists amongst us lt, if my trips along and around Harley Street are anything to go by. More Taycans in one stretch of Marylebone than most dealers ?
