Is your car under warranty? Even though its a pain not to have a loan car, i'd rather have the charging port fixed if its under warranty.

I've found that even BMW rarely have a loaner at short notice and usually need X months notice to book you in. Porsche in my experience (which is limited to my 7 months of ownership) seems to be worse but is just around the corner from my work, so I usually drop it off and don't have to worry. Sorry that doesn't really help you.

Yep still under warranty. It's just the time delay in getting booked in and sorted.
As others have said also most OPCs only have one tech who knows what to do.

The crazy thing is I paid to have the extra 22kw charge as quite a few of them as public chargers in Scotland !
Mine did exactly what you are reporting, also with the 22kw charger.

I had mine recovered by porsche assistance without any argument. Enterprise 'premium :CWL:' hire car supplied. After all, it could be dangerous as you could be stranded if there are only AC chargers around and you run out of juice. Car was fixed in a few days of collection.

Wherever possible go to porsche assistance as first port of call for this sort if thing. You jump the queue and get a hire car. My dealership seems to need about 3 months for a courtesy car (if at all) and an appointment for getting the car looked at about weeks. So try to avoid that.

Agreed Big Bob. However Porsche Assist won't assist as the car is not immobilised. Said to contact dealership
