What might cause a clunking sound from the front wheels of my Porsche on a full turn?

I have 21-inch wheels, and it feels like the tyres are struggling to grip. Is this normal, or should I be concerned
?

Likely stick-slip because summer tyres have poor grip on cold tarmac and the steering geometry is calibrated for handling during brisk cornering leading to the slip angles of the front tyres being different at high steering angles.
It actually would not happen if the steering had ackermann geometry but it doesn't since that is no good for high load cornering.

Thanks, everyone! That’s what I initially thought and mentioned to my dealer. I was told it’s not normal, and they said they’d call me back. My model is a 4S. I'll keep you updated.

Google “Ackerman Effect”, also happens with 911’s.
It was so bad last winter on my 21’s that I bought a set of 19’s & put winter tyres on - the car drives so much better as a result.
