Cost of extending a US warranty?

My Taycan's 4 year warranty ends fairly soon and I intend to keep the car. I've been considering my options and the dealer just quoted me $4500 for a 2 year CPO extension. Has anyone else had a recent quote on this? Anyone have suggestions for alternatives?

I bought an 84 month Prorsch Financial Services policy for about $5K. It covers everything but the battery, which is under the 8 year original battery warranty.
I plan on keeping my 2020 4S as long as I can...I usually keep my vehicles for 10 years.

What is the mileage limit/terms?

84 months from inservice date, and 80,000 miles.
There are many options regarding mileage/duration.
I probably would have gone to 96 months/100,000 miles if I had to do it over.

I got this policy from Porshe Syracuse, and it all seemed to be a routine Porsche program.

I just picked up a warranty for my 4S for 84 months and 100k miles for $7K from Porsche financial. As stated above, it covers everything, but the battery and squeaks and rattles. Also, my vehicle had 42K miles at the time that I purchased the warranty.

I would recommend reading the fine print more carefully for these service protection plans. They exclude quite a few things. When you compare the price against what is actually covered, it may not make sense for a lot of people.

Given the big dollars associated with even modest repairs, I beleive it is a good value.
