How do I read this exactly?

The CP Highway docks on the 4th and leaves on the 7th or is it it was supposed to dock on the 4th, but now is docking on the 7th?

Doing 17 knots - my 99c 24hr sat tracking on app expires in <30 mins so might lose her for a 1-2 hours or so before back in terrestrial AIS range - that worked out perfectly!

PWL generally so however for example the Siem Cicero scheduled to be in Houston today Dec1 actually got to it's berth yesterday early evening (posts #922 to 926)! I'll take earlier though .

I think the red dates are updated arrival/dock dates - so for CP Highway you are now docking on Dec 4th instead of the 7th. If you look at the annotations where ships are delayed the red new text is a later date than the old black date.

SFL Conductor unchanged docking on Dec 3.

Based on current position it is about 240 miles to Sparrow Pt - if we average 10 knots (slower in estuary - doing 17 knots in open ocean) or 12 mph for rest of voyage then she's there 20 hours from now - Dec 3 looking solid and possibly anchored by Dec 2.

Baltimore Port has her arriving 03:00 on Dec 2 - poss. a bit aggressive but my 12 knot av. also conservative.

SFL Conductor is almost to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. Looks like some traffic to pass thru the channel, hopefully not much of a delay before heading north up the bay to Baltimore (scheduled for 12/1 2200 local time).

I’ve spent more time than I’d like to admit stalking transit times and the RCC Classic. Today I realized that I don’t know a thing about charging my car once it arrives. What other research have you done that I should be doing instead of obsessively tracking?
Someone mentioned warranty plans.
Download and set up accounts for EV charging apps. What do you recommend(I’m in So Cal)
Anything else? This is my first electric car so I’m not sure what to expect.

Watch some of "Out of Spec Reviews" and "Out of Spec Motoring" Youtube videos on both the Taycan and Cross Tourismo. He is super knowledgeable about EVs and I've learned a lot about both the Taycan, EVs, charging curves, etc. from his videos. There is a particularly good one (albeit long) where he and some buddies set the Cannonball record in a Taycan from New York to Newport Beach in a Taycan earlier this year.
Some really great info in his videos.........

Interesting - just back online and see that she is still 30 mi+ from the bridge but obviously back in terrestrial AIS - weird that she would have apparently moved so little forward from your post but who knows, progress nevertheless


Edit - maybe not so weird as moving very slow at 10 knots!

I've being informing my daughter in Bethesda that she will be closer to my car before I will and thats just not right

TYD updated today to show I'll be on Siem Aristotle, but it shows "On Vessel" date to be 12/17. According to the shipping schedule it shows Siem Aristotle in Emden 12/1-12/3. Which would mean its arrival in Baltimore would be 12/17. Am I reading this right? If so, holy crap, I might get this car before the end of the year!

I wouldn't put much stock in TYD dates at this point. My CT4 is on a boat hours from Baltimore right now and it shows a Baltimore ETA of 12/24

1. Read the Taycan owner's manual that is a sticky in general discussions forum. Portions to start with: basic driving operations, starting, shifting, braking, stopping, etc.
2. Follow up by reviewing content in the app "Porsche Good To Know", the video instructions and functions in detail.
In the military the first rule of equipment operation/troubleshooting/problem solving was the acronym: RTFM!
I am first-time EV owner, too. That is what I'm trying.
