Ha ha - I’m on the RCC Classic and that wait to get through the canal will be the longest 5 days of my life

I am taking delivery in Salt Lake City - maybe I should have gone to Baltimore and driven the Taycan home…

Yes though I’m unsure I’ll actually get on that ship. My car was at Emden for 9 days and, yet, still, wasn’t loaded on the RCC Prestige. Not sure I should bother getting my hopes up for the FA ?

Have you clicked on the "on vessel" milestone on TYD to see if it says a ship is assigned?

My TYD hasn’t updated since 11/17 when it reached the Arrived at Emden milestone.

Have you clicked on the on vessel milestone? I don't care if it looks like you are not on vessel yet. Just click on that milestone and see if it says ship assigned.

Position at 2:45 pm Hou time - slowing a little to join traffic heading towards Florida straits - ETA unchanged.

You have to keep checking that. Once your car is in Emden, that "ship assigned" will be first indication that your car will be transported. In my case it happened the day the ship arrived in port and one day before the ship departed Emden.

If your port is Davisville, Felicity Ace, departing Emden on Dec 8 -9, looks like next ship scheduled. After ship assigned, track ship with one of the maritime trackers and use the shipping schedule arrival dates. Ignore TYD dates from then on.

Have you decided which one of the many ship spotting vantage points you will cover at Galveston and Houston, or will you drop by most of them? (Following with a drone is prob not ok.)

Do own a high spec drone but yeah, waiting another 4 months to get out of jail to see my car not cool

I suspect the boat will be passing through Galveston at an unfavorable hour - we actually were planning on visting some friends there around that time so could have worked out well. If I decide I want to see this thing in the flesh, best bet could be in the Turning Basin coming into or at it's berth - but we'll see!
