I agree with that.Calling bs on that, go back to them and ask to speak to sales manager, that’s info easily shared.
Telling you where you are in the queue is different to giving you the names, addresses, dates of birth and sexual orientation of the other people ahead of you.
Giving you a number in the queue is not GDPR. Otherwise every call centre wouid be in breach when you are on hold in a queue and they tell you what number you are.
