This is really vexing me. When I run the AC on AUTO, the fan blows at high speed. When I turn up the heat, it seems nothing happens. Only when I set it to MAX will I hear the heater fan blowing.
If I set the heat to, say 88F, it WILL heat up, but very slowly. No fan.
On top of this it seems that when set to obtain temps in the mid to high 70's that the AC is super cold. Something seems not right!
I heard elsewhere the heater is a "known issue," and felt it was time to be taken to the dealership. I was told a part was needed that would arrive in a couple days. When I picked up the car I was in a hurry and didn't speak to anyone about it. When I looked at the paperwork it said "could not replicate problem."
The car still performs the same.
Can you help me understand if the heater performs differently than the AC?
