Anybody found a good solution for protecting the rear bumper paintwork when your pooch jumps in and out?
I have added a simple tailgate protector, close to perfect fit. Velcro's to the floor at one edge that allows the compartment under the floor to be accessed. Folds back on itself neatly and covers the tailgate nicely.

It is an Achilles universal car protective bumper shield 100x70cm.

Maiden voyage today with our three lab/shepherd mixes - 50, 55 and 65lbs dogs. They fit great and were able to move around as well.

Thank you for sharing this! I'm nine days out from my 4S CT build freezing, and my only remaining concern is being able to reasonably transport my ~75 pound dog and a likely future ~60-90 pound dog as well. Seems like it'd be fine, especially if I'm open to folding down the rear seats for them.

Glad this was helpful. Guessing you’ll be good to go. The panoramic roof gives a ton more headroom, especially if your dog likes to face forward like mine.

If I could ask a favor of one of you, my Tibetan Mastiff is 30 inches at the shoulder and I'm curious what is the height from the rear seats folded down to the roof?

I also could use a dealer reference as Porsche Albuquerque has royally screwed my order.

Thanks in advance. And here's Bodhi for reference, because dogs...

I’m getting ~29” seat back (folded down) to glass. With seats folded up, the cargo area floor to glass is also 29” but only a small portion of the cargo area is covered with the glass.

They did the Boot Buddy based on my car - I'm rarely a worlds first! ;) Works very well.

However I'm very unhappy with the Porsche mesh net 'dog guard' as it really restricts rear vision so am having a dog guard and 2 boot dividers for 2 dogs (and ideally 10cm left for bags!!!) made. Can keep you posted if of interest - UK.

Can anyone confirm that ALL the CT's have the headlining lugs don't they that the OE dog mesh connects to? Its at rear seats and behind front seats too? Someone told the manufacturer that they are an option and I disagree - thanks:

According to a German dealer the lugs won't be there unless you order the divider net. I looked at a CT without them (I was in a rush so there is a minor chance I overlooked them).

My CT 4S has the 'lugs' in rear and front - I considered them coat/jacket hangers but indeed could be used for the dog/trunk divider - I did not order the divider net so for US cars it comes std. - maybe different in Germany or your source has incorrect info?

Here is the rear one - an identical set in forward position behind front seats but I messed up the pic!! Can take another later for ref:

Sales person at Porsche Braunschweig. Can't vouch for the info as I don't have a standing relationship with them. Obviously it would be so much better if they came standard. Not being able to add a net to a car seems insane. That said Grand Cherokees didn't have them no matter what you ordered ;)

My guess is they are std in all CTs but still need Euro owners to confirm.
