This seems to happen too often and primarily in USA to my recollection. My car was bricked. Couldn’t put it in drive or reverse. The notification message gave me an option to call road assistance and showed my location and VIN number (that was pretty cool, very handy). They sent a flatbed, but after 10 minutes, I tried switching it on again and the message disappeared. I called to cancel the flatbed and drove directly to the dealership. At the dealership, they told me that they have seen a few of those lately, but haven’t been able to identify the root cause (no official notes from Porsche). They also told me that all those other cases solved by themselves after a few minutes. I still asked them to keep my car, run diagnosis, check for codes, etc. Will update soon.![]()
Keep us updated on what they find, if anything. I had to have my taken to the dealer on Friday. It didn't reset. Haven't heard back with a diagnosis yet.I'm having the same problem on my Taycan Turbo 2020. Yesterday it started after few minutes but this morning I'm having the same problem permanently. Just called for towing.
