Hello,
I ordered a Taycan 4s and I am expecting delivery next week so I decided to contact an electrician to install a charger at home. However, this is my first EV and I'm honestly a little lost. So most of the electricians that I contacted in the area told me they will install a 3-phase 32 amps socket as that is the standard here. They also told me that the 3-phase 32 amp installation will give me slightly faster times (about an hour faster) than the single-phase 40 amp that the charger is rated for.
Can anyone please help me out on what's best to install? Please keep in mind this is my first EV and I have little experience with EV chargers.
Thank you.
