When the proceeds go to charity, I don’t really consider that a real sales price.

Lots of head scratchers on some prices, but still some amazing cars. Like I can’t figure out how a 2008 BMW M5 is worth $156,000. And $35 million for a McLaren F1. But when you throw a bunch of drunk billionaires at an auction, who knows?

It keeps going up and then at $40,000,000 the auctioneer asked the other “bidder,”….. “are you out?”

That’s not what an auctioneer would ever say next unless he knew what the ending price was.
