Horrendous

The interior looks nice though - only 3 materials: matte aluminium/metal, corning gorilla glass ( and leather. All physical switches, no software buttons.

One only wants an SP allocation that the dealer won't give them

This is bad

At least it won't displace Purosangue sales

600k ouch. Interior definitely way better than the MB AMG GT, but for 4x the price I suppose it better be.

The exterior looks like they extended a Nissan Cube.

Why do some car makers insist on making their EV versions look so... weird... like a parody of a futuristic car... just make them look "good" and "normal" lol.

EDIT: Ok, now it makes sense.

The Luce is the first fully-electric car from Ferrari, and unlike other recent road cars, has been designed outside of the brand's design studio by industrial design supergroup, LoveFrom, headed by Sir Jony Ive and Marc Newson.

Ive is most known for his work at Apple, where he had a hand in the design of the iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch, amongst others. Australian-born Newson was formerly creative director at Qantas before working with Ive at Apple between 2014 and 2019.

They got Ive, a non-car designer who designs Apple products, to design a car lol - this is what you get!

I'm not sure they are correct. Past interviews with him have him talking only about the interior - he designed only the interior.

Hard to know - from their website, it does imply it's both interior and exterior:

It is a 5-seater... so a true Taycan alternative... for the family man who wants a Ferrari...

Also, if we think the Taycan depreciation is bad, I predict the depreciation on these cars are going to be record-breaking.

They need to do a survey to show the car without the badge but with specs and no price and see what feedback they get and how much people would pay for this. Initial impression is important as it should take your breath away (the way Mission-E did), but this is ugly, I am sorry, and who said that Apple products are well designed, I hate them for design/interface/usability may be because I designed many software app interfaces. Also, who said that Ferrari is the pinnacle of design. They could not even make Purosangue interior half usable with no middle screen, so your CarPlay replaces the center instrument cluster and then now they are replacing the steering wheels as they are not usable with the arrow scroll interface - give me a break - they have gone off the cliff with their non-sense and why this iconic brand even needs an EV, leave it to Rimac to lose all that money.

Let's wipe this Italian ugliness, and a shame it is so terrible, from our minds and enjoy something that is enjoyable to look at. Also, what kind of name is that, I do not know Italian but it sounds more like Lice. I have to give it to Porsche they put a lot of thought into naming to be sure it does not conflict with world languages and sounds.

The inspiration for the black trim around the bottom of the car to hide the potbelly battery pack came from fat guys using a beard to hide their extra chins/lack of a jawline. It’s a very human design.

That's a great idea to remove the badge. The Luce looks like a sporty Honda Prologue and it looks great for a $60k EV.

I think sometimes they just don't care what the customer thinks because they know better.

I think you are referring to Honda 0 EV that was cancelled with $11B+ in losses. This looks very similar to this Luce.
