Front Truck Food Cooler

Has anyone found a food or beverage cooler that fits perfectly in the front trunk of their Taycan?

I’m looking for something that would be easily accessible while on long road trips.

We have a Yeti cooler that should have the right dimensions but it doesn’t slide In without being forced and cannot be opened without being yanked out.

Have you looked into a soft sided Yeti? I pretraded my Cayman when I ordered my Taycan so I can’t try to hard sided Yeti I have…but I think the Yeti I have fit in the Cayman frunk.

I ordered one of these in silver - basically a near perfect fit and leaves some room for other stuff if needed: - frunk base is ca 21"x11" and 16"+ deep - this cooler is 21"x10" and 12" high.

The Yeti Flip Top 18 works great in the frunk and also works well sitting on a towel with a seatbelt through the handle on top in the rear passenger seat.

I'm curious how well this works. I have an early model year Tesla Model S, and if it's hot out the frunk gets really warm. Coolers I've tried, even packed with loads of ice have barely kept up on a 4 hour drive. My Taycan doesn't arrive for a while, but I'd be curious to hear experiences of those who've tried this in the heat of summer.

That’s an interesting point. We bought our Taycan in Aug 2021 and had only a few hot New England days with it. We kept our food in the cabin, in a cooler strapped in the a seatbelt, as suggested earlier in the conversation.

I initially bought a Yeti cooler for its reputation for being the best insulated. I guess this summer will be the test!

Can certainly fit but no 12V supply in Frunk of course and prob not wise to hook into the battery connections there as others have mentioned and to your point re ventilation.
