Glass rooftop issue..

We are in SoCal, so LOTS of ?HOT days, sometimes above 110F. I have driven my 2020 Turbo with the roof tinted for almost 2 years. 3M ceramic 5% (limo tint) with no issues. Regarding the glass breaking due to tinting, I have heard that too, so when I went to tint my new 2022 GTS I asked the guy about glass breakage. He has never seen it on any car. He does lots of Tesla roofs as well as Taycans and have never had an issue.
He added that the only issue with glass breaking he has seen is when the Tesla glass flys off due to not being glued down!
I tinted my new car with the same 3M ceramic 5%, and it makes a huge difference on both light and heat!

I optioned mine without pano roof and I’m really glad I did. I had a loaner with the pano roof and I didn’t even notice it was there. The car looks so much better on the exterior with the painted roof.

I bought a UV monitor becasue I was concerned about the pano roof and my bald head; not an issue.

it's been only a couple of weeks since I've been driving my Taycan from 1 pm to 3 pm. The outside temperature was about 92° F. I'm in Texas, btw.
Damn sun is killing my eyes.. Are there any tips that I may be able to utilize to cover the glass? I think this is a huge design flaw.

We have had similar problems with sun roofs on previous cars in the past... so when we ordered our 4S, we got the aluminum roof. Really glad we did.

One test drive in a car with a pano roof on a sunny 80 degree day convinced me that I didn’t want one. Tint would have been a must.
