I read that the GTS suspension is about 20% stiffer than the 4S. Do you know if this is true in all driving modes, or is it only in the sport modes? Asking because this will be my daily driver and wanted to make sure it wasn’t too stiff for that. I drove the RWD model recently, which I know has stiffer suspension than the 4S, and thought it was fine. Will it compare to that? I understand this is a tough question considering nobody has really driven it yet.

I don't think it will be that much of a difference in normal drive mode nor do I think you will really notice it and unlikely to be a concern.

Taycan RWD doesn't have air suspension as standard and rides on steel springs - perhaps the car you drove had this setup?

Expect GTS to be similar to the Turbo.

I wasn't aware (though I've only experienced the 4S CT) of any significant difference in ride comfort between 4S (with air suspension) and Turbo- but thought that the GTS was noticeably stiffer?

Impossible to know at this stage - we haven’t driven it!

The press say one thing but your opinion might vary - time will tell but either way it will be a fantastic drive and ride.

Drove a Turbo last weekend, with PDCC and PASM of course. Felt lovely on the road in comfort. I wouldn't be concerned.

The RWD with air spring is not stiffer than the 4S.
The GTS has a bit more sporty damping but I can promise it's perfect as a daily driver.

Realistically none of us can answer that until GTS cars are in customers hands, anything at thiS point is pure speculation, and you don't want to make purchase decisions on this level based on speculation

I agree, you should wait to test drive the GTS ST before deciding if its good enough for you. If you already have an allocation assigned, please drop it and PM me the dealer name :)

Me personally if I were to order the GTS I would simply accept the suspension will be stiffer at all settings levels compared to a non GTS version also equipped with air suspension. Having owned a few Porsches in the past the GTS version of any model (911, Cayman, Macan, etc) always seem to have more aggressively tuned suspension setup geared towards more aggressive driving than other trims in the same model line up.

Basically if you don't like to drive hard with a more firm suspension set up, the GTS trim level is likely not for you.
