Cost of extended warranty?

After no luck with my local dealer, a forum member recommended Porsche Chandler in Arizona and that's where I purchased a Porsche Platinum with a $250 deductible. A few months ago it was $6k for 8 years, 96,000 miles covering stuff other than HV battery and HV cables. This aligns with my 2020’s battery warranty that has 8 years and 100k miles. Kicks in after the base warranty.

I have 40,000 miles on my Taycan and plan on keeping it until Gen 2 comes out, or 2027, whichever comes first.

Do you have a contact? Our dealer quotes $7,559 for 100k/7 years.

Porsche North Houston - got this exact deal (back in May this year), but zero (vanishing) deductible and only for 60K miles - so Platinum, 8 years (5 extended), 60K zero deduct for $4300.

Given I've driven less than 9K in 2 years (embarrassing I know!), the 60K was perfect for me as a retiree. For anyone doing more 'normal' (commuter, long distance) driving that 60K might be too little.
