They are holding up better than OEM, they look, feel, and perform much better. I checked them after 5k miles and they were like brand new, but to me the period matters as well since after 6 months mold is a given and at this price, I do not care about the miles and replace them every 6 months.

Inspired by this thread, I just changed mine on MY22 CT. You had better have a small child available for this job. Anyway, the two screws identified in the earlier diagrams have been superseded by clips. The whole awkward assembly detaches without tools (once you pulled the two pins back).

Totally agree, but that is how they designed it. The good feel part is that you can replace it pretty easily and as I mentioned many times on the forum anyone not doing it every 6 months is breathing mold and if you wait until the 2-year replacement interval not only you are putting pressure on the AC with your stuffed filter, but you are also breathing visible black mold. I also replace my own filters on the Macan and Cayenne and those are much easier to replace since there is more space under the glove box.

I bought the cabin air filters from Pelican Parts for under $20 each.
To reset the service indicator I pay the dealer for an "inspection" to reset the service indicator ($180) after showing the receipts for the parts. I do the brake flush myself.
Any guide on how to do the brake flush yourself? thanks in advance.

Here is an article I wrote about changing the brake fluid on my 981 Spyder. It is the same procedure for the Taycan.
Dealer said the Taycan needs to be flushed twice, i.e. I understood it was cycle one new bottle through the system.

I recently had to do my cabin filter replacement on my car. Thanks to OP for posting these Korean instructions. It really was one of the easier jobs you could do on the car.

Based on the feedback from the forum here, I bought the amazon a-premium two pack of filters. I can say without question that they are a high quality replacement filter. I see no reason to pay the extremely high cost of the OEM filter when these exist.

I snapped a few photos of the a-premium next to the OEM for those who are interested. You will see the a-premium is slightly larger than the OEM filter, or perhaps the OEM filter was squished from being installed for a couple years. Whatever... in any case it made no difference on the fit, I was able to install this in less than 20 minutes. It would take me longer to drive to the dealership!

I hope these pictures help someone make the same decision

There is also a Pollen Filter that maintenance says to replace. Where is the location of this filter? I can't find any information online about it

Pretty sure the cabin filter is what they’re talking about. It would filter pollen as it filters the outside air coming into the cabin.

I would normally agree with you, but it seemed like they differentiate them. Plus there are Porsches with two filters

Who is they?

Are they calling it a “dust and pollen filter?”

If so, I’m pretty sure that still “filter” in the singular sense.

There is only 1 and only 1 filter.
It is located under the glove compartment and easy DYI.
I replace mine every 6 months.

Seems like you’re the type that gets easily offended. I can’t help you with that. The cabin air filter is easy to replace. I’ve done mine before. I’m not talking about the cabin air filter. When I go on the Suncoast website, the pollen air filter (NOT the cabin air filter) is shown. When I go on Porsche Riverside’s website for Taycan maintenance, they mention a pollen air filter. I came here to ASK if this is in fact the case. Get off your high horse and help people out. That is what a forum is for as well. No one is trying to confuse, we are trying to learn. Your links to a cabin air filter are irrelevant to my question.
