I travelled about 1000 miles this week following the WRS0 update.

The journeys were mostly on motorways at between 75MPH and 80MPH average speed using cruise control.

My mileage was just under 200 miles on a full charge, so I can see no improvement in range.

Strange, I have done similar up and down to London multiple times this week at those speeds and consistently getting 250 to a charge - Wednesday’s trip was 240 miles and I can do the return trip from home without charging and returning home with around 11% .

I did midlands to nottingham and got 270 on a 4S 2022. Seems about right for the summer to me.

My car is a November 2020 J1.1 with the performance battery plus which I think has capacity of 93.4 kWh, it does not seem have the range of the later J1.2cars.

The guessometer on the dash told me I had a range of 250 miles when I set off, but it tells lies.

The Taycan J1.1 battery has up to 270KW and the 2025 J1.2 has up to 320KW.

The speeds I quoted were Waze true speed, not the indicated speed on the dash which currently overstates the speed by 3MPH on my car.

We aren’t, my original post was about “recent updates” and I didn’t specify because I didn’t know. My post was that since my car has had what seems like too many software updates this year, suddenly my efficiency is far better.

WRS0 was just one of those updates and was clearly just about sending battery data back to HQ

My 2022 Turbo is only 215 at 100%. Im wondering about getting a battery SOH, but not sure how to go about getting one done.
Buy an obd ii scanner (about €50), install app, and you will be able to monitor SoH… 🤷‍♂️

speaking about range: after almost 4 years, my SoH is 88%. If i drive below 100km/h, it takes aboutt 20 kwh/100km …while on highway(150-170km/h) i’m over 35 kwh/100… so in theory, my range is from 250 - 400km, while in reality something about 200km (because of Ionity locations).
