A black rear logo has always been an option for older Taycans (and a super easy retrofit, for about the same price as optioning it from the factory). You can buy it at places like this and install it yourself - no computer recoding necessary. I got one for my car (though I got the Euro version with amber/orange turn signals so I had to do some extra work to get those to function). One reason to get the illuminated logo light bar that hasn’t been mentioned is when it is not illuminated it appears black, if you do not order it, you have a reflective, shiny silver Porsche lettering on the back of your car. If you’re trying to be understated or all black the light up logo is going to be the way to go.
True, but it doesn't take much clue to notice that the rear logo lights up. He just thought it was stock. The guy from the video is clueless and obviously has been given the car for five minutes to review it.
The Porsche logos follows the back light function, but have its own start-up sequence.Quick question for those of you that have/don’t have it in the 2025. Can you turn it off if you want? Also if you don’t get it does the full light bar remain illuminated?
Thanks!
People have preferences. Just because they don't align with yours doesn't mean they are wrong. I've seen videos of people completely blacking it out with film, which I don't prefer but it's their car.Are these there to remind you of what kind of car you bought?
You know.... in case you forgot.

I think the new Taycan lighted "Porsche" looks pretty nice. However, I would like it dimmer than the example image above.
