it isn't just a porsche issue. I was in St. Pete FL and had a problem with my jaguar Ipace. the local dealership didn't have a tech, he sent me to a dealership in clearwater where he knew they had a tech because they hired him away, he was to start the week after I was there. I made the 20 or so mile drive only to be told that their computers were down (BS) and they had five cars in for "emergency" work and they couldn't help me for a few days. My local dealership said that they would take the car in but may not be able to look at if for a week or two, fortunately the issue isn't stopping me from driving the car but the inability to have something fixed on a brand new car is extremely frustrating.yeah I saw similar progress - my shop has only a few "taycan certified" engineers so they are not working on the car 7/24 when you drop it off.
with porsche, in my early days of ownership there was a baked in software issue that prevented charging at EA chargers and while the service center was sympathetic PCNA would not allow them to work on the car because they couldn't/wouldn't document the problem.
eventually porsche was able to diagnose the issue on another car with similar specs at a dealership in the western US, porsche was tnen able to create a patch in days and I was one of the first contacted for the installation of the patch that took 2 days to install.
I must have wasted hours at the dealership on multiple visits trying to get the car working properly and I am not even mentioning the anxieties of being many miles from home at EA chargers that wouldn't charge the car even if I was willing to use a pay as you go EA account.
Porsche never offered any sort of compensation or an apology of any kind for the hassles I had to endure because of their ineptness.
