Intermittent boot fault

The past few weeks I have experienced a slightly annoying and intermittent fault. When pressing to open the rear boot (trunk?) it will unlatch but not open any further, I will then need to forcibly pull it open as it is stuck in that position, just 1cm or so open…

this happens intermittently, and irrespective of whether I press key fob, screen in car, boot button or wave my foot under the bumper

The car is scheduled for the brake hose replacement so will ask them to investigate under warranty, but booking OPC schedule for a Taycan in UK seems almost as difficult as gaining an audience with the Pope, so I hope they don’t need a separate visit…

anyone experienced similar?
