I had not seen this change of Ionity charging structure changes since July 2020. In both Finland and France, Ionity now charge per minute!! For non-contract customers only. Porsche and others still have the preferential cost I guess? The charge is now 0.79 Euro per minute instead of 0.79 Euro per kWh. I thought that most charging companies migrated from a per minute charge to a kWh charge. I remember this was a hot topic in USA.
I wonder what prompted this change only about 6 months after the introduction of the 0.79 Euro per kWh?
Will this mean that cars that could charge quite rapidly on an Ionity station would be better off. But slow charging CCS2 vehicles would be punished and perhaps encouraged to charge elsewhere and not occupy the charger for a long time?
Anybody noticed this in France or Finland?
