My car is equipped with an ionizer. Does it require maintenance, and where is it?

No maintenance. It is part of the cabin air system. I always option it as it makes cabin filter more efficient. You have to enable it in the A/C settings to turn it on. Models starting with 2024 add Air Quality System tile that unfortunately I do not have since mine is a 2023.

Tiles are annoying. Makes better UI for ionizer to be in the HVAC menu

I am pretty sure it is part of the HVAC menu as an Air Quality Tile.
I saw it on a MY2024 and looks similar to this, which I wish I had.
