Did you receive photos during production? If so, who sent them?

Porsche sent me an email that said my build was completed and an “invite” to check my TYD for next steps. I guess I misspoke as they didn’t send the photo directly but added them to MyPorsche app.

My car arrived at Emden on 5/13 and was scheduled to be loaded onto a ship on 5/20. Today it shows a revised date of arriving at the port of 5/19 and a new estimate for loading on the ship at 5/27.

EDIT: Looks like mine was actually loaded on the Sunshine Ace and it departed a few hours ago. ?

Looks like we are ahead of schedule now. Production completed and I'm now ready for transport and date went back to the 15th (that's probably what I get for checking TYD every hour). Found a production pic through inspect element but nothing in the app yet.

I'm sure theres a forum on this but does anyone know where to find the ship schedule?

In TYD, it will update in a few days and tell you what ship your car is on - mine took about a week from when the pictures showed up in the app and I got the notice that production was complete. Then you can go to this website and search the name of that ship as well as follow it real time: www.marinetraffic.com.

My original production start date was 05/20, TYD got updated only yesterday saying Vehicle is in production as of 05/24, port arrival got pushed to late July (most likely Aug delivery now)

My GTS arrived at Emden last Thursday on 5/19. Its expected to depart for Benicia on 5/27 according to TYD.

I came across VW’s shipping schedule and I see that the departure date for Benicia is 5/31 with a 6/28 arrival on the Glovis Summit. The dealer arrival is expected on 7/15.

In case anyone is wondering, here a snapshot of VW’s shipping schedule to North America. If you’re taking delivery in June or July, your Taycan is (or will be) on one of these vessels

Oddly, Glovis’s own website indicates that the ship is supposed to stop at Benicia before heading down to San Diego, whereas VW’s schedule has the order reversed:

The dates are also slightly different….but close enough I guess!

Someone else posted here about the same issue where their Taycan has been sitting in Emden for several weeks and I believe it was ultimately due to a missing component (maybe the Burmester amp?).

Mine is on the Sunshine Ace as well. It also looks like we are both in CO.
