Great question! I did 20% for the rear windows and 50% on the front windows. In Minnesota our limit is 50% but I think the CT4 will get away with it since it gives off wagon/cross over vibes, haha. I had a silver car years ago with 30% and really got beat up by the troopers here because of it!
It looks great, i'm getting my windows tinted in a few weeks, originally wanted 20% all around but might be too dark lol

The cool factor will be very high but the visibility out the window in the depths of winter will be very low as I learned in the past! :CWL:

the car that I sold for the taycan was a tesla model y performance. I did 20% ceramic tint all around. It did look super cool, but underground parking lots with dim lights are my nightmares lol. I always have to roll my windows down. Thinking about 20% and 35% front.

Porsche SA told me the 3 months thing too, which resulted in me not taking the lease because the 3 month interest would make it a barely break-even at best.

However, I recently went through this with Audi, and found an honest enough dealer who admitted they have no way to force you to pay 3 months, it's just that if you pay it off earlier than 90 days after funding (which actually means few days more than 90, like 93 or possibly up to 100 days), the dealer loses their kickback from the leasing company (which I think is the lease acquisition fee + premium for jacking your rate). One Audi dealer actually told me that it's "against Washington state law" for me to pay off the lease before 6 months, :CWL: . So I suspect the 3 month minimum is not mandatory with Porsche either, it's just so that the dealer doesn't lose his $895 kickback (plus whatever bonus they get for jacking your rates above the base rate).

i asked my sales manager when signing for my car how long i had to wait to pay off the car so the dealer wouldn't lose their commission. he said i could pay it off that afternoon and they wouldn't care lol. They did not try to sell me up on any of the protection packages or warranties or crap. Truly a wonderful dealer experience.

I just went through it again, this time with an eTron. So the way it works, the dealer gets an extra kickback taken away if you don't cancel for 90 days after funding (funding takes between 1-10 days, usually a couple depending on weekend situation). However, there is nothing they can do to prevent you from paying it off immediately, though there is some practicality limit as to when you can actually request the payoff - the lease paperwork must have been processed. For the eTron, I requested the payoff as soon as the lease was linked to my online account, which was just over a week after delivery. Payoff is still processing but I don't foresee issues, other than perhaps a delayed title as it takes more than a couple of weeks for DOL to issue a title. If I knew that back when I was picking up the Taycan, I would have done it with Porsche too, but a dealer was telling me I have to wait minimum 3 payments (ironically, it was another dealer I had a deposit with, not the one I actually bought the Taycan from, but I believed the first one ). One of the Audi sales people I talked to when shopping for the etron made up an even bigger lie, he told me "There is nothing in the lease contract, but Washington state law says it's illegal to pay off a lease sooner than 6 months in".

Some glamour shots of my CT4 in Chalk.
Considering PPF or REVIVify self healing film to protect the paint. Any advice? What are others doing?

Ceramic coating at a bare minimum to preserve the shine. Otherwise PPF is your own choice if rock chips bother you or not. If you dont care then save your money. If you're OCD about the tiniest blemish, then PPF it is.

Woot, I picked up Kaa on the 27th at the Porsche North Houston dealership. I then drove to the Porsche River Oaks dealership, where they just built a bar/lounge with two charging stations. So, I plugged Kaa in and enjoyed a nice gin and tonic with my better half until we reached 80%.

great photos, looks awesome! The black handles on this color look particularly good, where they are less convincing on other colors.
Thanks, Trogger! I think so too. I'm thrilled with the end result.

Wow thats really nice! Its wild that there are still Porsche dealerships out there without ANY charging solutions let alone a lounge lol. im out of town for work right now and i had to charge my Taycan at a cadillac dealer because the porsche dealer here doesn't have any charging (wild).
