"Left low beam damaged, check left headlights" Error

I got the dreaded message during the weekend while returning from dinner. Visually inspected the headlight, no obvious damage at all just the low beam is dead.

Luckily I'm "still" under warranty for another 2 months but thinking this could have occured outside warranty or that I still have the right low beam to get "damaged" makes me nervous... apparently/supposedly they go for €4000 a piece at the dealership? Is Porsche serious? How long are supposed led light last? I have other cars that aren't worth the price of a Taycan headlight apparently

Forgot to update this.

Dealership confirmed the issue through the computer but as it wasn't broken at the time I took it there, they told me to just keep driving and wait for it to reappear (if ever).

I also extended my warranty for another 3 years. Got a nice nespresso coffee in return while signing the form and paying up.

A 3 year extention is around 1.8k Eur/year here in Portugal. Not negotiable. Meh.

Anyway, the left lower beam went bonkers again last night .

Have arranged another appointment. Hopefully they finally swap that thing out next visit.

3470 chf / 3789 euro - 24 months + 300 chf for road assitance
4970 chf / 5427 euro - 36 months + 450 chf for road assistance

These are the official porsche numbers 3 dealerships gave me in switzerland last week.

The prices are a bad joke... i ended up taking it from germany for 400 euros per year less. Good to know Portugal is cheaper... that's where i'll take it from next year

I'd say it's on par. Maybe a bit cheaper yes.

I think road assistance is included then again my insurance also includes road assistance so never sure who to call
