well you need this OBDAPP Interface because OBDAPP (you can download on your phone via app store) is only able to connect to that. You can test to connect with your ELM but it will definitly not work.

If you need in future other functions for maybe an Audi Q8 or something else you can choose then OBDAPP Interface vorhanden JA = OBDAPP Interface already available yes, and you only pay for the function).

Here you can find all details to the Interface itself: https://obdappshop.de/obdapp-interface/OBDAPP-Interface-one.html

Once the car has been reprogrammed to the new settings, do you need to keep the dongle attached? Or is it saved in the system?

And sorry, just to confirm, if you hit the suspension lift button on the Taycan, it will still work, and raise to the original lift height?

Just trying to think, since lowering links aren't that hard to install and pretty cheap to make, but the one downside is that the front axle lift is also lowered by the same amount, so you lose partial lift functionality. If this module retains full lift capability but has lowering in all the other modes, it's ideal

I know the CETE module allows this, but it's also pretty pricey at $1300, so if this does come in around the $500 pricepoint, I'd be interested in one as well

Also depending on what other functions are unlocked (trunk chime, etc.) via the app, I might be interested either way

Edit: Just read the google translated page, it appears that you don't have to leave the module plugged in, which is nice. Still trying to figure out if lift mode button gives full OEM height, or the OEM Lift minus lowering amount. Also if lowered height is same for all drive settings, or just a deviation down for each settting, or if each setting can be custom set (doesn't sound like it)

well, yes you can unplug the interface after your work but with it you are able to check also DTC or use show mode, so my interface stays in car actually.

This lift modes are available in order to be standard function from the adaptive dumpers. should be same height if you tick but i didnt measuered yet when i am in range deep and tick lift. will try it today for you

You should do a YouTube review. Would love to see that from a customer view instead

I think it would be very fair for all to mention that @taycanlovers is a commercial account belonging or involved into the product and OBDAPP / Stemei and has being banned from the german PFF forum very lately and now signed up here :)

Hi Forum, I ordered my RWD with 21"s and air suspension.

currently own a RangeR sport which seats on 24"s and i went with lowering links and works flawless without compromising anything on handling nor comfort.

What are your thoughts about doing lowering links to a Taycan to improve its looks.

Maybe im crazy but, lets hear it!
Where I live any lower than 'low' setting would cause a lot of issues with bottoming out.

I am also assuming the warranty is void if you say damage the bottom of the car when you have lowered the suspension?

Its an incredibly complex car and my personal view is that Porsche engineers know what works best when they designed it.

Banned for what?
If the product is ok I don't see a reason why posting as a commercial account isn't ok.

I did some measurements (see pics before) and the difference between the different ride heights are 10 to 20 mm.
So if you lower the car by 10mm just because you like the looks, you can switch back by just one click cuz then you are already in the OEM table again.
You only loose height at the lift (which is 10mm lower of course).

Is there an individual mode where you can select and customize your driving like in BMW you can choose accel/suspension/ bla bla bla into a customer driver mode?

also can you choose the ride height by mode?

I have not even got my car that is why im asking all this questions.

That would be helpful if you can record clips of the whole connection process.
Is the only available option available today the ride height adjustment or what else can you do with the obdapp?

You have an Individual mode in which you can select whatever you want, it'll be stored.
Still, you have to switch to this Individual mode every time you start the car.
The car starts in Normal mode.

You can select ride height in all modes but it's not stored with that mode (I think in some market it does though).

with the knob on the steering wheel will be easy to get on the individual mode then. cool!
