The center console box isn’t as convenient as snapping it in a charger at my knee. Also it can still get hot in the console since it’s an enclosed space

this is easy and nice solution, I'm using it without the flexible gooseneck arm, but with Quadlock charging head. Costs a bit but really no-hassle solution.

you can run a 50cm usb C-cable from the arm rest storage box

OF COURSE: you'd lose one of the cupholders

just use double sided tape/mounting tape on an apple magsafe charger and put it anywhere you want. It would also be super easy to make a 3d print block with a hole cut out to fit the magsafe puck.

I made this 3d print mount that you can attach any generic magsafe charger to. As a bonus, it doesn't block the vent and you can see your phone if needed.

The whole idea is to cover the mouth of the useless lower dash storage bin, I like having two cupholders and don't want to sacrifice

I need power to it for Apple CarPlay since it eats power, also, I'm hoping to locate it in the useless space, yours is a little harder to reach IMO

replace the head with one that is powered. the base is a standard ball that will accept most most magsafe head like this one.

there is access to the fusebox on the driver left leg it that you can easily tap into and easily hide the wire in the weather strip.
