Posting for informational purposes. Here is last year's update: 3 Year Update
No issues during the fourth year. At 30,000 miles now.
Went to 4 year service. $1,400 after coupons. At the dealer from Thursday to Monday. They also did all the recalls/campaigns so it is all caught up.
I got a 96 month / 60,000 service contract. It drives exactly the same as the day I first got it. Not a fan of J1.2 so we'll see what is available in a few years. Nothing else I would rather be driving.
Other fun fact. Cost of ownership. Compared to a Panamera (maybe, because I have never owned one so made a bunch of assumptions).
Panamera
Service every 10,000 miles x 4 = $1,400 x 4 = $5,600.00
Fuel: 30,000 miles @ 21mpg @ $4.25 per gallon = ~$6,000
TOTAL: $11,600
Taycan
Service every 20,000 miles x 2 (but the first one ended up being free because of the recall and the $600 voucher we got. = $1,400
Electricity: I have solar panels so my blended cost is $0.23 per kWh , 30,000 miles @ 2.5miles per kwh = $2,760
Tires: $2,500 (assuming they would last longer on Panamera?)
TOTAL: $6,660
"Savings": $4,940 .... I knew it was a good financial decision
