Interesting there is a 22kw AC charger option. Thought that was no longer an option on gen2 and it was limited to 11kw.

So I got a few ideas looking at your build. Porsche crests on the headrests to override the model designation there seems more tasteful, since it isn’t possible to just get them plain. Gloss black or turbonite on the door/window sills is an open question for me, since there’s no good picture of turbonite.

Note that Atacama still shows as overriding turbonite interior accents with neodymium, although I have to wonder if that’s true or not. I am waffling about the neodym, have been putting dark silver accent to override it although I would be fine if it just came with turbonite accents.

I see you’ve selected several leather options which don’t have pictures and don’t show up in the configurator. I thought that Turbo comes with leather door panels and dash end trims, so I’m confused what these options do on these models. do you know? Same for atacama stitching, are you thinking that the stitiching will blend in with the leather color rather than contrast? Have you seen that?

The interior spec is essentially the same that I have with my current Taycan. The "contrasting" atacama stitching primarily shows up on black leather on the dash, doors and on the inside of the steering wheel.

I agree that it's a bit strange that the club leather option overrides the Turbonite without any option to undo that, but on the other hand love the Neodyme that I specced on my current Taycan.

Regarding the leather options, most of them are frankly pretty redundant. It does look nice, but they're mostly add some minor extra leather to the inside of the door and stuff like that. It actually seems like they've removed some of the leather options that I specced my current Taycan with, like at the bottom of the centre console. Same thing with the extra Race-tex which is only adds a small patch near the rearview mirror.

Here are some photos of the interior of my current Taycan, which might give you an idea of how it looks like:

That’s interesting, it is still not available in the uk configurator. Porsche have said it will be released at some point, perhaps some markets getting it before others?

I’m hoping it will be available as a dealer fit upgrade (per current Taycan) if it’s not released in time for the initial Gen2 cars.

Thanks for posting the pics, that was an informative look and illustrated very nicely about the stitching.

Awesome build, have pretty much that exact build with my prefacelift CT TS in ice grey metallic.
Agree with you on every bit that they have nailed everything wrong with current version - I would have liked it to have the updated PCM and buttons for the climate from the Macan EV though

2 questions;
1) Did you get any discount from your dealership on that build? Any percentage you could reveal?

2) Are you trading in your current CT TS at PC and if so, are they giving you a resonable offering or just lowballing you?

Thinking about doing the same as you :rock:

1. I did, but I was asked not to share it so out of respect I'd like to refrain from doing that. It's not an insane amount, though.

2. The idea is to trade it in. It's obviously less than if it would be sold directly to someone, but still there's a value in itself to not have to bother with that. It's not exactly the type of car that you put on Facebook Marketplace.

You got so much money to burn. If it’s me, i would probably get a 911 or another brand. Such a waste of money to get another Taycan.

Yesterday, I finished speccing and placed an order for a new CT. I don't have a build date yet, but preliminary indication is for a June delivery.

It's a relatively high-end spec, but feel free to come with suggestions for anything I should change. I went back and forth for a while regarding the optional Turbonite inlays, but eventually opted for the standard colours/high-gloss.

It was also a tough choice whether to go for another CT or switch to a ST, since that is what I originally actually wanted when I bought my first CT (the ST hadn't been released then). However, with time I've actually grown to like the rougher look of the CT, and it turns out I'm actually driving much more on barely maintained dirt roads than I originally believed I did. So this time, I decided to go "full CT" with offroad package and roof rails.

The build code is for the international website, since the actual one I've configured is in Swedish.

Ditt bygge ser helt perfekt ut - hatten av. I understand you appreciate the extra passenger screen on your current car. Personally I would take that out for a more exclusive feel - but that is just me. Otherwise perfect.

Regarding skipping the partition net, don't you have to order it to actually get the roof attachment points?
I got it confirmed now that you indeed need to spec the partition net to get the attachment points. Thank you for pointing this out!

Lastly, but perhaps most importantly, the real sole reason for upgrading is that they've replaced the regen button on the steering wheel with a dedicated next song button.
I missed that update...of all the changes they made this is the one that excites me the most! LOL
