2023 Porsche Taycan GTS, 2008 Porsche RS60 Spyder

New (2K miles) 2023 GTS in Gentian Blue with Chalk/black interior. Coming from a BMW M550. Ceramic coated before delivery.

First 100 miles: Unreal car. Also own a Tesla Model 3 performance and this car is such a step above in fit and finish, NVH and fun to drive factor. Still learning the somewhat non-intuitive tech, but so far so good. Bose stereo is a step down from the B&W stereo in the BMW, but it is ok. The regenerative brake settings are a bit confounding compared to the Tesla - set up Auto in Individual settings.

So far could not be happier with both the deal and this car. (second Porsche - have a low mileage 2008 RS60 Spyder which is the go cart).

Welcome to the club. Sharp looking example. Would love to see full spec sheet and if you are up to date on the recalls. Questions about anything...ask away. I would say we have not seen many new owners lately as the take rate slowed down a lot. My dealer says they are selling more Panameras now and Taycan orders are not being made in addition to many sitting on the lot.

Congrats and welcome!

While I will forever miss the raw mechanical engagement and handling of my 991.2 GT3 touring, the Taycan GTS takes the cake for the perfect daily driven sportscar

If you get the itch for more power, the Redshift ECU takes an awesome car to an incredible car!

Great choice. Gentian blue is lovely, red interior suits it too. Looks great even in the rain! Commiserations to those who lost cars in the hurricane or European floods in Spain. I took this photo at Castle Air in Cornwall as they not only look after our Air Ambulance but have super cool cars for sale and a lightning jet!

Great pic of a pretty car. If I spec'd my own Taycan (bought it pre-loved), I very likely would have picked Gentian Blue. ?

The scenario in which you would be pushing your car hard enough to notice the change in range doesn’t really exist outside of a race track. In daily usage on public roads the impact is so small I could not even give you an estimate.

Congrats, that’s a gorgeous car. Like you, I still have an 5 series competition and my wife has a Tesla X Plaid. I thought the Tesla was the S—-T until I entered the world of a Tycan Turbo. They are unique in their own way……Tesla is more savvy on the command interface ( flawless responsiveness) but has subpar suspension and poor…..poor braking…ugghhh. Sure helps having ceramic brakes to stop this heavy beasts and the Tycan does it with grace. Coming from Tesla I am also uncertain about the regenerative braking. It seems to me that the standard regenerative braking is more predictable and gives better range. The auto regenerative seems inactive unless you are catching up with traffic? Anybody has an insight on this? Thank you and congrats again……love the blue with the red calipers BTW!!
