New Charger

[PVDRE Taycan]

The Porsche dealer just replaced our 220 charger, but when we got it home we realized they gave us a NEMA 6-50 connector and our receptacle is a NEMA 14-50. Can we just buy an adapter like this one or is there another solution?

two things:

• that adapter will work fine and it's good to have for traveling
• get the dealer to give you the correct 14-50 supply cable
  • if you get the 14-50 supply cable - get the other type of 6-50 to 14-50 adapter (6-50 male to 14-50 female)
  • still a good thing to have for when away from home - lets you use either a 6-50 or 14-50 plug.
