RAS, PDCC Sport, PTV, carbon ceramics.

Oh wait, this isn't going to be my car.... :p
I’d save your money as far as PDCC and carbon ceramics are concerned. PTV is standard on the GTS (in the Uk at least).

Why would you take a MY23 in july when you can wait a couple of months for a MY24?

Interesting point- I had considered it, but wondered-Is Porsche taking any orders for MY24's and didnt I read somewhere where they are expecting price increases for MY24s?.

Was of the opinion- there were no major changes in 24's other than potential price increases.

Hello Everyone- I am new to Porsche and this forum. Just ordered my first vehicle - Lock date is May with delivery in July.

https://configurator.porsche.com/porsche-code/PPP9XL27

Would like some suggestions on some of the options selected. The few things I am unsure about and would like some real life experience are with the following
1) Variable Roof- Live in texas so worried about the heat with just the pano roof- but also concered about issues with this tech
2) interior accents- Dark silver vs Neodyme- going with all black leather and trying to brighten up the interior
3) Bose vs Burmester

Looking forward to learning from y'all.

Thanks!
Just my 2p.
I'm not convinced the GTS is worth it over the 4S... and I dislike Alcantara -Race Tex
Have Pano Roof in mine and was fine at 40 degrees C 100+F
All Black interior is fine and classy just like mine
Dead money going for Burmeister and Bose is just fine...

Somewhat agree with this. Once someone is able to figure out how to program the ECU, the specific tuning for the GTS goes out the door. At that point, you might as well get the Turbo. I think if you're new to a Taycan, GTS is a good entry point if you at least want an AWD version. I have a 4S now and will most likely never get a GTS. It's only Turbo (S) or whatever Porsche will call their three motor monster from here.

The GTS suspension is tuned to be the most sporty set-up of the (current) Taycan range, so it’s much more than just tweaking the ECU.

So you're saying the GTS has different hardware components than its fellow brethren that are equipped with air suspension?

Porsche says the suspension is tuned differently.

Which is.....software. ECU programming.
I’m not sure of your point? You seem to be suggesting that all versions of a model are effectively identical as you can re-tune them to match any other model?

And ECU is typically used to refer to a car’s engine management systems, not just any electronic system.

That is not my point. My point is specifically, the suspension hardware in the GTS is the same as the other air ride Taycans. You seem to suggest there's something more to "GTS-tuned suspension" than just software. If there is, please tell me so I can upgrade my suspension.

You were claiming that you can just ‘tweak the ecu’ to create a GTS. It’s not the case.
