A software update affecting the real size of a real object contained in a very precisely sized continer would certainly be a challenge, but hey, maybe porsche can nail that down at some point with their "amazing" software engineers

I'm preatty sure that the buffer is one of the reasons why degradation is so low, in terms of actual range and not health %. So I doubt that changing the limits of the buffer would do much for an older taycan to be honest
