I have a 2020 4s with battery plus also.
It all depends on how you drive.
My wife gets pretty good range. I dont get good range at all. Except one time I had range anxiety with all the places we need to go on that day and drove very slowly, I end up getting about 240mi using about 80% battery in 70 degree weather.

Hi guys, as a new driver I didn’t realise how much of a difference the heating makes when you actually use the car on a daily basis. I’ve noticed that if you switch the fans on, you can manipulate the range so it shows roughly 10 miles more than it normally would.

I also found that turning the air conditioning off, or switching it to Eco mode, makes a massive difference to the range as well — something I didn’t know at the time of purchase.

Also, apologies for the late reply at the beginning of this conversation.

Um, didn't you do sone research before purchasing??

Did you you not research the forum (we've discussed this ad nauseum over the last 5 years)?

Did your dealer not explain the basics of EVs to you?

Enjoy!

Only nerds like us research before purchasing something.

You probably read the owners manual too!

Been on the forum since 2020 and so have experienced, read, contributed and learned a lot.

Amazing how many folk turn out be lazy / helpless when if they just RTFM they might benefit!

I love a good manual me ;-)

If we read and listened to all the negativity around the Taycan we would never have purchased one in the first place! However, I'm in year 2 of owning a 2020 4S and have loved every day of ownership to date. I don't read manuals unless there's an issue but have found many useful tips on Taycan Forums. Since I purchased the car I have always used Eco Auto setting for temperature control within the car and even in the occassional hot day we have in the UK have never needed full AC. However, I take full advantage of pre conditioning in the summer and winter to ensure the car is just right for when I get in.
