Thanks for all the tips on the original questions. I’ll try putting it in park next time as that makes sense to show the “buttons”. Thanks also for the pointers on the PCM… Would be a lot of presses to get to the menu item but hopefully putting in park does the trick
Also if the screen goes blank just tap it and it will spring into life

Good to hear! Thanks for that. Yes, it is new. Bought from a dealer who had it in stock but had more options than I wanted. Was in black which was not first choice but I really like it.
Most of the driving at the moment is little 3 or 4 mile runs around town so it’s probably about the worst possible range profile. But that said, as I did get 3 miles/kwh yesterday on a run including some 50mph stuff I was happy with that given the temp.
What? 3mi/kWh? You need to put your foot down a bit more and drive it like a Porsche !!!

In my nearly 18 months of ownership (late 2023 model) over 18,000 miles, I have never had it more than 2.4mi/kWh acros any kind of terrain or driving style.

ST is narrower (same dimensions as the saloon, measurements with mirrors folded (2.144m otherwise)) and shorter than current RR:
Serves me right for using ChatGPT for some quick numbers which it probably hallucinated (might have had one with mirrors in, the other with mirrors out?) :

Good advice and I would have loved to drive properly but with the traffic yesterday, mile after mile of average speed camera etc driving it as you describe would have resulted in all sorts of problems. I wasn’t aiming for 3m/kph, just happened so that it is even better. Went out one evening last week and managed 1.8 so that is probably more what you are looking for…!

I thought 3.5 was on the optimistic side (any time of year) with a J1.1

I get 2.7 max in summer and significantly less in winter (my 4S I got 3.0 / 3.1 in 20K miles in summer)

Ergo J1.2 - 30% more due to the larger battery pack

In my experience the car doesn't need to be off, however it does need to be in park for this to display.
Thanks for this. Just been out and this was indeed the solution. Thanks very much

Stop obsessing and buy! If you are like me, buying it is almost worth it free up the spare time you will save staring at configurators, Porsche website, forums etc….

I love the car. Only had it a few weeks though. I had a Q7 before so used to driving big cars around London and so I am not having any issues. I have rear wheel steering though which I think helps. I dont have a comparison I guess but I’ve been in tight car parks including a multi storey at the weekend and it was fine. The sensors did come on though, hence the questions above but I really wasn’t near anything. I also find reverse parking is pretty easy too but I would never buy this car without the surround parking option. I have read the rear camera is poor but not having that option ticked (I forget the actual name but it’s the one that gives you a surround camera view) would be a mistake I think.
Ha, yeah. I spend far too much time looking at cars for sale, mainly on the Porsche Finder. Surroundview and RAS are my number one boxes to tick when speccing them up. Thanks for the motivation!

194 miles from Bay Area to Tahoe yesterday in my CT 4S and averaged 2.6 miles per kWh. 57 mph average.
Drive somewhat conservatively when you need to and the range is there.
I get close to the EPA range estimate even when I’m driving it hard on the back roads.
