Can someone review with me the general status of doing modifications to diminish interior noise? Thanks in advance. I’d like to do this, but I don’t want to run the risk of voiding my Porsche extended warranty. And I don’t want to have to change my wheels or tires. Has anyone had experience having a shop do this for them? I live in Los Angeles and could go to House. I doubt Porsche itself. Does anything like this.

Hankook tires help.. I started a discussion about this a couple of years ago and I think there was a guy who did it himself and there was a lot of discussion about various ways to reduce noise. You should be able to find it if you search for road noise

To give you advice, it’d help to know a bit more about your current setup. A few things worth sharing:
- What tires are you running right now?
- What rims do you have, and what size?
- Did you option the noise insulating glass?
- What bothers you most; wind noise, tire noise, or the motor?
- What driving mode are you normally in.

I am running Michelin Pilot Sport 4’s NF0 20” with insulated glass; can hardly hear the road/tire noise in the CT in normal mode on the Dutch highways. Pirelli’s P7 had a bit more noise, the Michelins are new though.

For mods: have you tried searching the forum? I think i remembered some guys filling their wheel arches with some kind of foam/padding to reduce road/tire noise.

For me; driving faster (140k+) the wind noise gets a little more intense. Depends on the prevailing winds as well. Not bothersome but more than I would have expected.

Motor noise never bothers me, it’s part of the appeal of the car imho.
