I now see my car is located at the Porsche Werk warehouse which is connected to the railyard. I guess that's the final holding place before it begins the actual journey up north. Let's hope it gets moving soon.

How did you guys add the car in the app? thought you needed proof of ownership? I tried with a photo of my drivers license and the purchase agreement but still says documents are being checked

They oddly don't require it anymore? I was shocked too. Just use the VIN and it will go through now.

I always believed Porsche is FIFO and never willing to believe we(July August builded) got left behind.
Could anyone tell me how MY23 car already for sale and we still waiting our MY22 cars.
im sure the picture is evidence of lots of things.

PS: I did lost for a second, then contact the dealer on the picture confirm the car been sold still waiting for transfer, that make me feel a bit better, at least there is no evidence show Porsche not doing FIFO so far. Hope we all getting our car soon.

If that’s the case, it certainly increases my annoyance. Already we are at risk of taking delivery of MY2022s in 2023, in addition to the fact that 2023s are already driving around.

Want to ask Porsche NA (since it’s not really a dealer problem) for compensation but given no one who had a car sunk on felicity ace got anything, I doubt I would / it would be worth the trouble to try

Haha fair enough - the way I look at it is if in general everyone is just being delayed, I’m not that upset (not trying to be selfish), as it means there’s nothing unfair going on, just supply chains being supply chains.

It’s still annoying that the magnitude of the delay wasn’t better disclosed, as I and I think many people came into their orders expecting a lead time that ended up doubling(at least for me, ordered in late Feb thinking delivery in early Aug for 5 months, which is now 9 months delivery in Dec)
