You did switch it on I presume ?
My previous post's photo shows the little steering wheel (next to the green 20) greyed out. ALK is on but not active as it has no lane markings to follow.
Here is a picture of an American car with the green lane tracking confirmation I don't ever

Heads Up Display — adds plastic trim piece around dashboard display that many find unattractive.
If Headup display simply duplicate the Dash then, that is a negative for me hahaha.

With FOD ALK I don't get the green lines on either side of the distance selection that, I think, represent the car 'seeing' one or both lane markers.

grey wheel means ALK is switched on but not active, no lines next to the wheel means lane keeping assist is not switched on. If switched on but not active you should see two grey lines next to the grey steering wheel. When lines are recognized they turn from grey into green. Looks like you have ACC switched on and set to 20 mph so that is correct.

Ok, here's another, not really compromise, but some info that's not obvious in the configurator. When spec'ing the race-tex/alcantara headliner, on CT (and I assume ST versions), the trunk shelf also comes wrapped in race-tex which is a sizable area. Some comfort when you have the pano roof and you're wondering what you're actually paying for when your "headliner" is all glass.

Great info, thanks. I’ll update post 1.

I presume the overall height of the boot floor remains the same either way? It’s just extra space gained in the lower storage cubby hole?
Yes.
The so-called "subwoofer" box is fitted in this space, not above the normal boot floor so the only capacity reduction is in this cubby hole.

The bass speakers in the doors are 8" units which do go deep in the bass but maybe don't have enough power to overcome the road noise which has a large component in the bass range.

When the car is stopped the bass range of the standard system is good but quickly swamped by background noise when moving.

I think we really need to 3 owners to post pics of the boot floors, for base, Bose and Burmester (funny all start with “B”).

Salesman last week told me Burmester subwoofer ”raises the floor”, and agreed with me when I asked “you mean that area forward of the charger cubby under the floor?” Sure, he could be wrong but this keeps coming up so I currently believe that the subwoofer takes up some amount of actual normal boot space and I‘d like to know how much.

I hope that isn’t the case. I’ve been led to believe both Bose and Burmester have the same reduction (just in the cubby hole).
Mine will have Burmester, so will (hopefully!) be able to confirm in a few weeks!

Don't worry... I just browsed listed used ST Taycan from the Porsche Germany website, selected Burmester as mandatory equipment and look for a boot/trunk picture.
Then did the same for Bose
Here you go. Bottom line is : no difference between Burmester and Bose

Does anyone actually use the drug smuggling cubby hole* ? Must admit i rarely remember my car has a frunk, let alone the trap door. I have the boot protector thingy, so it is a bit out of sight out of mind.

*except for storing charger cables for ad hoc use.

The crypt under the boot floor? Yes, that;s where my Type 2 cable lives. Also 1/4 of it has been given up for a battery which powers my dashcam separately from the car supply for the first 10 hours or so while parked. Before the battery went in we kept our EVSE (Mains charger) in there too; now it has been moved to the frunk.
But yes, it is a stupidly tiny space especially after coming from a tesla model S where you can lose an entire load of shopping or clothes in there. Made up in part by the Porsche‘s deep frunk I guess.

Assorted stowage straps plus dog paraphernalia including various adaptors to attach her harness to seatbelt socket or D-rings in boot.

My Type 2 goes in there. Even with the boot liner (that I had from day 1), it's hugely convenient to store. I don't keep anything else in there as the rest of the car offers a lot of storage room, even for the ridiculous amount of stuff I take to kids football training 3-4 times a week

I keep an umbrella, luggage net, a random users manual and toilet paper in there (having kids, you can never have enough toilet paper!).
