I am still not sure that I want Innodrive….I didnt check the box for a reason. I very much dislike driving aids. I am not worried though, if the drive gets to be a PIA, I still have several options…..LOL ?

Agree -- did not add any driving aids.
I want to drive the car, not let something decide how to drive.

I was too late selecting 1 option just after my build was locked; Heated steering wheel.
Miss it in winter and hands are cold.

If I was ordering again, I may switch away from the pano roof and select a brighter interior instead.
Back seats seldom used and driver gains little from the pano roof - except weight and potential cracks.

Negotiating on 195K 2020 turbo has every option other than sports chrono which isn’t a big deal for me since I’m not tracking the car and don’t need a watch. Huge msrp car

Whish I optioned alcantara roof lining and B pillars. Plastic pillars just feels too cheap. Also PDCC, it drives so fantastic - making it even better would be just amazing. 4 zone climate - not for the rear zone but separate footwell control.

To finance the above I would skip the glass roof, rails and Burmester. Looks better, rails discolour (and dont need them) and would rebuild the std. Stereo instead

I have all the tech drive options, which is good – RWS, PDCC, …

while keeping it low in the software stuff. Don't like 360° view etc. either.

This turned out perfect.

Love:
Massage seats: I use it most times I drive anywhere
Air suspension with smart lift: I need it to avoid scrapping the Taycan bottom on my driveway
Rear wheel steering: IMHO essential for parking the long Taycan

Miss:
Rear heated seats: my wife reminds me of this when we travel with friends in the winter

I am regretting but not very strongly choosing the Porsche Clock since you cannot see the hands at night. The standard Chrono with the Dark Silver Accent that is lit would have been there otherwise. My thought process was that this is a value upgrade to have a wrist like watch on the dash for much less than a wrist watch, but this is exactly what it is, wrist watch with light charge glow hands that do not seem to glow ever.
You might look into putting in the compass. While not officially offered by Porsche for sedans, it should be retrofittable with minimal effort and some PIWIS recoding.

I never for cared heated steering wheels on my cars in the past. Then one came with a car as part of a package which included things I wanted (IIRC heated seats, heated wipers). I realized I didn't know what I was missing. I ordered heated steering wheels for all subsequent cars.

When I ordered my car, I was in my late 40‘s and had already decided to retire. About a year later, I got bored and took another job….that is an hour away from my house. If I was ordering my car now, with my current commute, I likely would have selected Innodrive, despite its shortcomings.
...at least that is an easy fix---you can add it through the Porsche Connect Store :)

I regret not getting the full leather interior, the plastics are disappointing for a 150k car.
Full leather is a HUGE improvement- IMHO one of the best value upgrades. I bought my Taycan used and would not even consider cars without it. Not so much for the seats but for the dasboard and tops of the door paneIs. The interior with the top stitching in those locations looks so much better than without.

No regrets here because I was lucky to find a used (ie partially pre-depreciated :)) Taycan with a lot of options I wanted — Innodrive, Burmester, etc - and a few I have come to like — remote steering for example. I think the previous purchaser wasted his/her money on writing “Taycan” below the gearstick and the stupid puddle lights though. And the clock above the dashboard is a really stupid design (unreadable especially at night, and we have two other clocks already) but it is a requirement if you want the knob for sports mode.

I optioned Remote Park, not for the remote park itself, but the extras like traffic cross alerts. However I miss the curb view - which you lose if you choose Remote Park - which is a real shame.
I have traffic cross alerts without Remote park - they came with Innodrive (the factory fit option, not the after-purchase software version). I also have the kerb view and top-down 3D view so these must have been part of some other reversing camera option too.

No missed options for me, but I could live without the leather covered dash sides. I can't really see it when in the car and is barely noticeable when the door is open. Another option I could live without is the sport sound.

I check _ALL_ the boxes that I want - it's too expensive to do over and if you're not willing to pay Porsche their option tax they may not be the brand for you - no one buys a Porsche to save money - I'm always confused by people that save $327 on a $180k vehicle, but then again they won't be bankrupt and I will…so I guess in the end they are right.

check _ALL_ the boxes, it's cheaper than doing it over.
Am I alone in thinking that’s just ridiculous- my old dad would say ‘more money than sense!’
