Still no time to get to it ? Or not feasible ?

SoH is an estimation, and is not always readily available in the BMS. Sometimes it's a placeholder because the BMS hasn't realized the measurement yet.

Even displaying it is not always accurate. Pretty useless imo, hence why I haven't bothered adding it to my app. @prj may have a different opinion though

For me there are way more health reliable indicators than SoH which is an estimation at best.... Such as VDelta, ISO, Internal Resistance etc

I did look at it. The thing is, the SoH readout that is being done by the tools is not really officially called that :)
The PIWIS $22 label does not even have a conversion formula.

I do have my car and I can mess with it a little.

Tried Mapev and cleared some nonsense codes but this wouldn’t clear. Any ideas what this is? Just map db for navigation ?
This thread is for the app. Clearly says not to post your diagnostic requests here:
Please do not ask me how to fix something on your car though, I probably can not help with that. If something does not work in the app, do let me know.
Perhaps I should add it to the start of the post in big red letters.
Start another thread please.

It wasn't necessarily directed at you. It might be your thread but other members can still help each other out.

I don't think the point is whose thread it is, but rather that we should try to keep discussions on topic, start a new thread if your question doesn't fit existing topics. We could put all discussions into a single post, but that would be horrible to navigate.

Ran MapEV diag today, first time connecting up to the car. I'm at about 300 miles on the odometer.

First thing. Thanks, Nice app, worked perfectly.

20 Modules reported errors. A lot of it looked like noise, some looked more worrying, like an internal malfunction on real axle steering, but are probably not since just one is there.

This thread doesn't focus on fault codes - we need one that does, but a philosophical question: why clear the errors? I get a lot of them look like garbage (Databus implausible message, implausible signal, etc). But the few that have scarier messages (like internal malfunction) .. I'd think you'd want to keep them even if they were cosmic.

Is the feature just for people who like neatness? Or because determining the dates of messages is problematic, its a way to track recurrences?

Also is such a noisy diag dump typical for cars in general? porsche in specific?

Thanks. Slowly beginning the learning.

There is something called "freeze frames" that show the mileage when the fault occurred and so on, I just did not implement freeze frame decoding, because MapEV diag was supposed to be a light tool rather than a full on fault finding thing.

There is no reason it couldn't become that, but I am working on so many other money making projects that improving the free tool just hasn't been on the cards lately :(

I would suggest clearing all the faults, driving it and seeing what comes back after a week or so.
