Anyone know of the passive battery drain - such as while the car is parked in garage, locked with no interior cooling occurring? What would account for that consumption? Thanks

the battery drain on the taycan is minimal, maybe a mile or so sometimes.

Parasitic losses are almost undetectable from running the sport chrono clock, battery fault protection, etc. It's another feature I have been impressed with on the Taycan. The car has sat in the garage undisturbed for up to 4 days with not even a 1 mi drop in range. Not so much the case with my ex-Model S.

Hmm mine is having serious battery drain. Lost 9% in three days with 0 driving or pre-heat/cool

Not a good sign. Maybe a bad battery cell.

Supposably it’s my high voltage charger. They ordered a new one. Hopefully this is it but I don’t think it is. Also has serious drain when normal driving for every one mile it drops 1% in battery. Range never updates to match and sis the dealer never drove the car I don’t see much happening

At worse after a charge and if the battery voltage is not even between cells the discharge will start to balance all the cells. In this case you may see a drop in the 24 hours after charge. That should stabilize after the balancing process is over.

I have just receptet experienced the same. Huge loss of charge and loss of range. Car has been diagnosed with two modules to be replaced, module 10 and module w0. Plus the “HV battery control unit”, whatever that is. It had 87 % charge according to the app on Monday when it broke down and today below 13%at a Porsche garage! With theis rate it will b e zero tomorrow I fear. Car is still in Sweden but we are back home in France.
